Working with WA Potatoes over a number of years has built a wonderful relationship that continues to grow – just like the status of the humble potato. Humble indeed, but when we’re talking about a vegetable that is high in essential vitamins and minerals, low in fat and a potent source of antioxidants, we can just as easily call it an everyday superfood. Working with WA Potatoes senior project manager Georgia Thomas and photographer Nick Thake, I have created recipes and images that promote all these qualities and the many more that the potato offers. These images are used across social media, the WA Potatoes website and in the quarterly printed magazine WA Potatoes, available for free. As our collaboration has evolved, I have taken on the responsibility of the overarching creative direction on the shoots, as well as food styling and recipe development to showcase the produce.
