A Little bit about me…
I'm a total food fanatic having spent the last 25 years in the food industry in a range of roles that have allowed me to built a broad understanding of the business. Restaurateurs, retailers, producers, farmers, caterers and creatives, I’ve worked with them all. For the past 15 years, I've been focused on food styling and recipe development, turning everyday ingredients into delicious dishes. When I'm not busy in my kitchen studio, you'll find me hosting food styling workshops, publishing cookbooks, or managing projects for top food brands in Western Australia.
Local Love. I'm always on the lookout for ways to spotlight our local food heroes. This passion has driven me to develop and publish two hard cover cookbooks and one digital cookbook under the "A Local Table" banner, aimed at promoting local producers, growers, and makers. My goal with this project was to encourage readers to support these local champions by offering seasonal, locally-focused recipes that bring out the best in our produce as well as sharing details on where to find them.
Recent Work. In the last few years I've collaborated with top-tier WA food and kitchen brands like Harvey Beef, Western Rock Lobster Council, Leeuwin Coast, Hart & Co. Appliances, Kitchen Warehouse, WA Potatoes, Amelia Park, Linley valley Pork, Buy West Eat Best, and Southern Forest Food Council. Whether I'm managing a project or seamlessly integrating into a team, my unique experiences and holistic understanding of the food industry sets me apart in the industry.
What sets me apart? My diverse skill set allows me to seamlessly integrate into a creative team as a stylist, recipe developer, or creative director. Alternatively, I can leverage my project management skills to assemble the ideal team and deliver full project execution from inception to completion.
Comfortable in front of or behind the camera. Driven by a passion for creating mouthwatering content for the "content-hungry" food market, I'm constantly exploring new ways to turn everyday ingredients into extraordinary culinary experiences and I'm not afraid to put my face in the frame to champion the brands I believe in.
